First Baptist Church has been serving the Lord in Mount Vernon, Georgia since 1899.

What to expect
Services: We offer Sunday School for all ages starting at 9:00am and our worship service starts at 10:15am.
Music: We strive to provide a healthy balance of Christ centered hymns and contemporary worship songs.
Attire: Whether you come in jeans and a t-shirt or "formal" church attire, you won't be alone.
Children: We offer nursery care for children for kids 0-4yrs old during the 10:15am worship service. Children 4 years - 2nd grade are invited to go with their leaders after the worship concludes. After the service, children will be in the fellowship building. Visitors please go with your children to sign them in.
