Youth Ministry Coordinator (Part-time)

Objective:
The Youth Ministry Coordinator is a part-time church staff position whose main responsibilities are the planning and coordinating of all youth ministry activities and events for middle and high school students (Grades 6 -12). All activities in the youth ministry area are to be planned and coordinated in consultation with the Pastor and the Youth Ministry team.

Qualifications:
An individual with a passion for middle and high school students and a desire to lead them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and teach them to grow and mature spiritually through discipleship.

Responsibilities:
Attend all regularly scheduled church services and church-related activities when no other youth programs or activities are scheduled at the same time.

Support all ministries of the church whenever possible through service, participation, and faithful stewardship through tithing.

Plan, lead, coordinate, and assist with whenever needed, all youth ministry activities such as Sunday School, Sunday and Wednesday evening activities, Vacation Bible School, and other youth ministry related and church-wide special activities and events.

Be willing to enlist, and work in coordination with, teachers and other volunteer leaders in youth ministry activities and events.

Actively participate in all church outreach efforts, while also planning and coordinating efforts for visiting and reaching youth prospects and members, and their families.

Work in cooperation with the Pastor in planning the yearly budget for youth ministry, and keeping accurate records of any youth ministry related budget expenses. Also, oversee and keep accurate records of any monies received for special youth activities and events (e.g. camps or trips).

Serve as the presiding member of the Youth Ministry team and schedule team meetings on a regular basis for the purposes of feedback and planning.

Assist the Pastor and church leadership in various tasks and responsibilities as requested.

Praise and Worship Leader (Part-time)

Objective:
The Praise and Worship Leader position coordinates music for all worship services, music programs and groups. 

Responsibilities:
Attend all regularly scheduled church services and meetings.

Support all ministries and efforts in the church as practical through service, participation, and faithful stewardship through tithing regularly.

Plan and lead music for all Sunday and Wednesday worship services, including any special services scheduled as requested.

Plan and lead special music events and programs.

Direct the Adult choir and worship praise team and lead regularly scheduled rehearsals. 

Plan, coordinate, and supervise rehearsal schedules and implementation of other choirs, instrumental and musical groups and their appointed volunteer leaders.

Assist with the use, storage, and maintenance of all music, sound, and projection equipment.

Plan and oversee music budget in coordination with the Pastor and church finance committee.

Serve as standing member of church council and church sound ministry team. 

Assist Pastor, other ministerial staff, and church deacons in various tasks and responsibilities as requested.

Accountability:
The Praise and Worship Leader reports directly to the Pastor, or in the absence of a Pastor, to the Chairman of Deacons.
